世界针灸学会联合会各国所属团体会员、中医药针灸学会及有关单位：

　　为积极推动中医针灸在世界范围内高质量发展，按照《世界针灸学会联合会工作委员会管理办法》和成立相关程序，经世界针灸学会联合会执委会批准，将于2025年开展世界针灸学会联合会国际针灸志愿服务工作委员会、大学协作工作委员会、针灸技术推广工作委员会、艾灸发展工作委员会和脑病研究工作委员会5个的新成立工作，养生保健工作委员会、义诊工作委员会和腹针传承委员会的换届工作。现将以上新成立或换届工作委员会推荐工作等相关事宜通知如下：

　　一、委员候选人条件

　　（一）为世界针灸学会联合会团体会员单位中的个人成员，或所在国或地区中医针灸相关单位的从业人员。

　　（二）热爱中医药针灸事业，热心学会工作，具有良好职业道德，能联系组织和团结本领域广大从业者，能严格遵守《世界针灸学会联合会章程》及《世界针灸学会联合会工作委员会管理办法》的有关规定。

　　（三）从事中医药针灸医教研工作者，候选人应具备中医药针灸或相关专业的临床、教育或科研等丰富的实战经验。在本领域内具有较高的学术水平和影响力，副高级及以上专业技术职称，青年委员应具备中级以上职称；或具备开阔的国际视野和跨文化交流能力，能够准确把握中医针灸在国际上的发展趋势和需求，具有一定的国际组织能力和影响力。

　　（四）身体健康，能正常工作，委员年龄原则上不超过60周岁。

　　二、申请方式和推荐名额

　　采取“委员自愿申请、单位审核推荐”的方式，从事中医药针灸教育、针刺技术与艾灸、脑病研究、养生保健、科普义诊等相关领域的科研院所、大学、医院临床、行业协会（学会）等工作者，自愿申请并经所在团体会员、单位或机构同意，报送世界针灸学会联合会秘书处。

　　（一）世界针灸学会联合会团体会员的每个会员单位可推荐3-4人。

　　（二）同一个法人单位推荐人数原则上不超过2人，支撑单位委员人数不得超过3人。

　　三、有关要求

　　（一）委员候选人应如实填写《世界针联工作委员会委员候选人申请表》（附件1），本人签字，经本团体会员、本单位或推荐单位认真审核并批准盖章同意，确保信息真实，符合条件。

　　（二）现任委员如继续连任，需重新填写《世界针联工作委员会委员候选人申请表》（附件1）。

　　（三）按照学会有关规定，工作委员会委员候选人需从世界针灸学会联合会团体会员的个人成员中产生。报送《世界针联工作委员会委员候选人申请表》，须附上世界针灸学会联合会会员凭证或经团体会员负责人签字（盖章）。

　　（四）原则上每人仅能申请加入一个工作委员会成为委员，提交申请表时请明确写明申请加入的工作委员会名称，且邮件标注“姓名+世界针联XX工作委员会委员申请”。

　　请各有关单位务必于2025年3月1日前完成工作委员会委员推荐工作，逾期不予受理。《世界针联工作委员会委员候选人申请表》一式两份，本人签字，所在学会或单位盖章，加盖章电子版材料发送至世界针联秘书处邮箱。经世界针灸学会联合会团体会员推荐材料发送至office@wfas.org.cn，经其他国内单位推荐材料发送至academic@wfas.org.cn

Notice on Recommending Member Candidates of Working Committee of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) in 2025

Dear member societies of WFAS, 

Dear associations and relative units of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM,

In order to promote the high quality development of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM in the world, according to the Management Rules of Working Committee of WFAS and establishment process and after the approval by executive committee of WFAS, WFAS will establish five new working committees, including International Volunteer Service Working Committee, University Cooperation Working Committee, Acupuncture Techniques Promotion Working Committee, Moxibustion Development Working Committee and Encephalopathy Research Working Committee, and the re-election of Healthcare and Preservation Working Committee, Free Clinic Service Working Committee and Acupuncture Abdominal Inheritance Committee. The recommendation work of the above newly established or re-election of Working Committee is hereby notified as follows.

1.Conditions for Member Candidates  

(1)The applicant shall be the member of member society of WFAS or practitioner of relative units of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM in the country or region where it locates.

(2)The applicant shall love the cause of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM, and shall be enthusiastic about the work of WFAS, have good professional ethnics, have the ability to organize and unit the practitioners of the field and strictly follow the Constitution and Management Rules of Working Committee of WFAS.

(3)The applicant shall be engaged in medical teaching or research of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM and has rich practical experience in clinic, education or research, have a high academic level and influence in the field, with a professional title of associate senior or above, and youth member shall have mid-level technical job title or above, or have a broad international vision and cross-cultural communication ability, accurately grasp the development trend and needs of acupuncture-moxibustion of TCM in the world, and has a certain international organizational ability and influence.

(4)The applicant shall be physically healthy and be able to work normally. The age of the committee members should not exceed 60 years old in principle.

2.Application method and recommended quota

In the way of “voluntary application by members, review and recommendation by units”, workers in the field of education, acupuncture techniques and moxibustion, encephalopathy research, healthcare and preservation, science popularization and free clinics and others from institutions, universities, hospitals, associations and etc., voluntarily apply. After the application is approved by the member society or unit or organization the applicant belongs to, the submission can be sent to the Secretariat of WFAS. 

(1)Each member society of WFAS can recommend three to four people. 

(2)In principle, the number of members recommended by the same legal entity shall not exceed two and the number of members recommended by the affiliated units shall not exceed three. 

3.Related requirements

(1)Member candidates shall truthfully fill in the Application Form for Member Candidates of Working Committee of WFAS (Attachment One), sign it in person and shall be carefully reviewed, approved and stamped by the member societies, units or recommended units, ensuring that the information is true and meets the conditions. 

(2)If the current member continues to be re-elected, it is also be required to fill in the Application Form for Member Candidates of Working Committee of WFAS (Attachment One). 

(3)According to the related regulations, candidate member shall be from members of member society of WFAS. When submitting the application form, please attach the membership certificate of WFAS or submit the certificate signed by principal of member society (and stamped by members society) of WFAS. 

(4)In principle, each applicant can only apply to join one working committee as a member. When submitting the application form, please clearly state the name of the working committee you are applying to join, and mark the email with “Your Name+Application for Member of the XX Working Committee of WFAS”

All relevant units are requested to complete the recommendation of members of the working committee of WFAS before 1st March, 2025. It will not be accepted after the expiry of the prescribed time limit. The Application Form for Member Candidates of WFAS Working Committee shall be in duplicate, signed them in person, stamped by the member society or the unit, and send the electronic version to the Secretariat of WFAS email. If the candidate is recommended by member society of WFAS, please send to the mail: office@wfas.org.cn.
