5月份以来，巴西新冠肺炎疫情日趋严峻，已成为全球疫情第二严重的国家，当地医生和民众对新冠肺炎防治方案及经验有迫切需求。在此背景下，应团体会员巴西传统中医药针灸学会要求，世界针灸学会联合会开展中国中西医结合专家组同巴西医学专家新冠肺炎防控视频交流会，分享防治新冠肺炎的中国方案和中西医结合经验，指导、帮助巴西医生，特别是巴西全民统一医疗体系的社区医疗人员将中西医结合方案应用于新冠肺炎的预防和救治中，用中医药维护当地人民健康。 

Since May, with the growing COVID-19 pandemic making Brazil the second most severely stricken country in the world, its doctors and the public both have an urgent need for prevention and treatment protocol and experience. In this context, at the request of our member society, the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Brazil, WFAS is to hold this video conference, sharing the Chinese plan for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 and the experience of integrated Chinese and Western medicine, offering good advice to Brazilian doctors, especially community health workers of the unified health system, to prevent and treat COVID-19 with integrated Chinese and western medicine, and maintain the health of the locals with TCM.
